1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Zuzo, a financial education, planning and money management software platform operated by Armand Digital Limited.
Armand Digital Limited is registered in England and Wales under company number 13081571, with its registered address at 12 Fore Street, Chudleigh, Devon, TQ13 0HX, United Kingdom.
By subscribing to or using Zuzo, you agree to these Terms.
Please read them carefully before purchasing a subscription.
Nothing in these Terms limits any legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
2. What Zuzo provides
Zuzo is an educational financial management platform designed to help business owners and individuals understand, organise and plan their finances.
Features may include:
- Business financial reporting and analysis.
- Cashflow forecasting.
- Profit Engine analysis and optimisation tools.
- Money management systems and planning templates.
- Monthly Money Date tools.
- Monthly Life Date planning.
- Net Worth Tracker.
- Debt Triage tools.
- Financial goals and projections.
- Educational resources and implementation support.
- Optional AI-assisted financial insights.
Features and availability may vary depending on your subscription, and not all features are guaranteed to be available at all times.
Zuzo may add, modify or discontinue features as the Service develops.
Where a material change adversely affects a paid subscription, we will provide appropriate notice and any remedy required by applicable law.
3. Who can use Zuzo
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to Zuzo.
The Service is currently intended primarily for customers in the United Kingdom.
You may subscribe as an individual or on behalf of a business or other organisation.
If you subscribe on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to enter into these Terms on its behalf.
You must provide accurate account information and keep relevant details up to date.
We may refuse or restrict access where reasonably necessary to comply with law, prevent misuse or protect the Service and its users.
4. Subscriptions and payments
4.1 Subscription plans
Zuzo offers subscription-based access.
Subscription plans may be available on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the options offered at the time of purchase.
The selected plan, price, billing frequency and any applicable taxes will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
4.2 Automatic renewal
Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period.
Monthly subscriptions ordinarily renew each month.
Annual subscriptions ordinarily renew each year.
By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the applicable subscription fees at the agreed renewal intervals, subject to any legally required notices or authorisations.
4.3 Payment processing
Payments are processed using authorised third-party payment providers, including Stripe.
You agree to provide valid payment information and authorise the applicable recurring charges.
4.4 Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time.
Where a change affects an existing subscription, we will give appropriate advance notice and explain when the new price will apply.
Any price change will be subject to applicable contractual and consumer protection requirements.
4.5 Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails, we may notify you and provide an opportunity to update your payment details.
Where payment remains outstanding, we may suspend or end access after taking appropriate steps and providing any notice required by law.
5. Cancelling your subscription
5.1 How to cancel
You may cancel your subscription through the cancellation functionality made available in your account, where available, or by contacting support@getzuzo.com.
We will provide an accessible cancellation process and comply with any applicable statutory cancellation requirements.
5.2 When cancellation takes effect
When you cancel, your subscription will not renew at the end of your current paid subscription period.
You will retain full access to Zuzo until the end of the period for which you have already paid.
For example:
- If you pay monthly and cancel halfway through the month, you can continue using Zuzo until the end of that paid month.
- If you pay annually and cancel during the year, you can continue using Zuzo until the end of your paid annual subscription period.
Once that period expires, your access to Zuzo ends immediately.
5.3 No further recurring charges
We will not charge a further recurring subscription fee after a valid cancellation has taken effect, unless you subsequently reactivate your subscription or make a new purchase.
5.4 Refunds
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of a paid subscription period.
This does not affect any statutory right to cancel, receive a refund or obtain another remedy.
Where applicable consumer law requires a full or proportionate refund, we will honour that requirement.
5.5 Statutory cancellation rights
Individual consumers may have additional cancellation rights, including cooling-off rights, depending on the applicable legislation and circumstances of purchase or renewal.
We will provide legally required information about those rights during the subscription process.
Nothing in these Terms overrides any mandatory consumer cancellation right.
6. Access after subscription expiry
At the end of your final paid subscription period:
- Your subscription access will end.
- You will no longer be able to use Zuzo's reporting, forecasting, planning and educational subscription features.
- You will no longer have access to in-app data export functionality.
- Access to subscription-only implementation sessions and resources will cease.
Cancellation itself does not trigger these restrictions before the paid period expires.
7. Data export and deletion
7.1 Export while subscribed
You should download and retain copies of information you need while your subscription remains active, using available export functionality.
7.2 Export after expiry
For 90 calendar days following the expiry of your paid subscription, you may request an export of available account data.
Requests should be sent to:
support@getzuzo.com
You do not need to maintain or reactivate a paid subscription to request data during this period.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before releasing information.
Exports will be provided in a reasonably accessible electronic format, subject to the information available, applicable law and reasonable technical limitations.
7.3 Data retention
Following subscription expiry, relevant customer data is ordinarily retained for up to 90 calendar days to support the export arrangements.
At the end of that period, Armand Digital will arrange for the secure deletion of the relevant Customer Personal Data from active application systems, subject to applicable backup retention arrangements, technical limitations and legally required retention.
7.4 Separate account deletion
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as requesting deletion of your account.
Ordinary subscription cancellation allows you to continue using Zuzo until the end of your paid subscription period.
If you separately request account deletion, Zuzo's account deletion process includes a 30-day recovery period, following which permanent deletion of relevant account data is initiated, subject to applicable backup retention and legal obligations.
Account deletion may result in the loss of access to your information before the end of an otherwise active subscription.
You should request an export of any information you wish to retain before initiating account deletion.
7.5 Data protection rights
The above contractual arrangements do not restrict applicable rights under data protection law.
Further information is provided in our Privacy & Cookie Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement.
8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and lawful information.
- Ensuring that you have authority to enter, upload or connect financial information.
- Keeping account credentials secure.
- Reviewing calculations, reports and forecasts before relying on them.
- Maintaining appropriate copies of important financial records.
- Obtaining relevant professional advice.
- Using Zuzo in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
You must not use the Service to conduct unlawful activities, interfere with platform security, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access or misuse another person's information.
9. Accounting software integrations
Zuzo may allow you to connect supported third-party accounting platforms, including Xero.
You are responsible for authorising those connections and ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions.
Zuzo's current Xero integration is read-only and is not designed to create or change accounting transactions within Xero.
Information may be synchronised and stored within Zuzo for financial reporting and forecasting purposes.
Third-party integrations may be changed, interrupted or discontinued by their providers.
We are not responsible for the independent operation of third-party services, although this does not exclude responsibility arising from our own acts, omissions or legal obligations.
10. Financial information and professional advice
Zuzo provides general financial education, calculations, illustrations, organisational tools and planning support.
Zuzo does not provide regulated financial or investment advice, personal tax advice, debt counselling or personalised accountancy services through the software.
Zuzo's tools are not intended to replace an accountant, financial adviser, tax adviser, solicitor or other appropriately qualified professional.
Any financial calculations, forecasts or recommended planning steps are based on information supplied by users, received through authorised integrations or produced using predefined assumptions.
You should independently review important information and consult an appropriate professional before making decisions affecting your business, tax affairs, investments, borrowing, savings or personal finances.
Nothing in Zuzo constitutes an offer or recommendation to purchase or sell any particular financial product.
Our Financial Disclaimer forms part of these Terms and provides further information.
11. Accuracy of information and forecasts
We aim to provide useful and reliable tools but cannot guarantee that every calculation, forecast, data import or report will be free from error.
Financial projections are estimates and actual results may differ materially from predicted outcomes.
The quality of outputs depends on the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of underlying data and assumptions.
You remain responsible for checking outputs and deciding whether they are appropriate for your circumstances.
Nothing in this section removes your statutory rights where the Service does not meet applicable legal standards.
12. Artificial intelligence
Certain Zuzo features may generate optional AI-assisted financial explanations or insights.
AI outputs may contain mistakes, omissions or inaccurate assumptions.
You should not rely on AI-generated content as the sole basis for significant financial, tax, investment or business decisions.
Information processed through AI services is subject to our Privacy & Cookie Policy and Data Processing Agreement, where applicable.
13. Implementation sessions and educational resources
Certain subscription plans may include group implementation sessions, educational materials, templates, training resources or other support.
These are intended to help subscribers understand and implement Zuzo's financial planning and management tools.
Availability, schedules and included resources may change from time to time.
Participation in implementation sessions requires an eligible active subscription unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Educational sessions are not a substitute for individual regulated financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
We may reschedule or replace sessions where reasonably necessary.
14. Intellectual property
Zuzo, including its software, branding, frameworks, educational materials, templates, written content, designs and related intellectual property, belongs to Armand Digital Limited or its applicable licensors.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service during your subscription period in accordance with these Terms.
You may use relevant outputs, reports and permitted templates for your own personal or internal business purposes.
You must not, without appropriate permission, resell, commercially redistribute, reproduce substantial protected elements of, or reverse-engineer the Service, except where permitted by law.
You retain ownership of information you lawfully upload or enter into Zuzo.
You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, analyse, display and otherwise handle that information for the purpose of providing the Service, subject to our Privacy & Cookie Policy and applicable DPA.
15. Availability, maintenance and changes
We aim to make Zuzo available reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily restrict access for necessary maintenance, security updates, repairs or service improvements.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.
If a material feature is withdrawn or the Service becomes unavailable in a way that affects your statutory or contractual rights, appropriate remedies will remain available.
16. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- Material breaches of these Terms.
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity.
- Unauthorised access or serious security risks.
- Persistent non-payment.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a breach.
Suspension or termination will not affect any statutory rights or remedies to which you are entitled.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
For consumers, nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights relating to the quality, description or supply of digital services or content.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from inaccurate information entered by you, unauthorised use resulting from your failure to protect credentials, or decisions made contrary to clearly stated limitations of educational or illustrative outputs.
18. Data protection
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Our Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how we process personal information in our capacity as data controller.
Where we process Customer Personal Data on behalf of a business customer acting as controller, our Data Processing Agreement applies.
The Data Processing Agreement forms part of these Terms where relevant.
If the Data Processing Agreement conflicts with these Terms concerning Customer Personal Data processed on the customer's behalf, the Data Processing Agreement will prevail to the extent of that conflict.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in legislation, the Service, security requirements or our business operations.
Where changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide appropriate advance notice and any rights or remedies required by law.
We will not retrospectively impose changes in a manner that unlawfully removes existing rights.
20. Complaints and customer support
For questions, technical support, complaints, data export requests or subscription enquiries, contact:
support@getzuzo.com
We will aim to address enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are an individual consumer, nothing in this clause prevents you from relying on mandatory consumer protections or court rights that apply to you.
